Kudakwashe Chikwara
Principal Physiotherapist
I have been in the profession for 12 years, with special interest in Orthopaedics, Sport injuries and Chest Physiotherapy. I am strong believer of total patient care, ie addressing the presenting problem/ condition and the patient involved. I find this fulfilling and giving me purpose to keep going in this exciting evolving profession.
As part ofthe 'total patient care' a thorough & comprehensive assessment is done to determine an appropriate treatment plan, the patient is educated of this and made aware of their responsibility in the whole rehabilitation journey and what they should anticipate. Where some of the presenting problems falls out of the scope of physiotherpy, I employ a multidisciplinary approach in consulting & referring to all the relevant medical professionals.
To stay abreast with all the latest trends of patient care and treatment delivery , we attend Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses. This helps us to deliver relevant, professinal and comprehensive service .

Vimbai Elizabeth Shumba
Physiotherapist:
Six years in the profession, with special interest in Orthopaedics & sports related injuries. I get a great sense of fulfillment to see atheletes return to sport painfree. I enjoy helping patients identify their pain & coming up with comprehensive treatment plan, to facilitate recovery and prevent future recurrences. I value a multidisciplinary approach, appreciate working withthe dcctor, biokinetisist, nutritionist, clinical psychologist, occupational therapists etc. To me a holistic approach is essential for effective rehabilitation of an individual by educating the patients about their condition and pain physiology as a key factor in positive treatment outcomes. It empowers patients to take responsibility of their health. Once the patient knows what to anticipate the battle is half won & rehabilitation becomes an enjoyable journey to recovery.
